Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

They were celebrating a ABATE county reps 50th b-day with a ride. He passed in late Feb. I never knew the guy since I'm not a ABATE member, but did attend his benefit in early Feb. Had about 50 bikes or so. I was suppose to help move the X wife today but told her I'd rather ride!  uglystupid2 They understood. Did a little over 120 miles in 4 counties today. Not a bad ride except for a couple slow ones that had about a 50 yd separation from the pack.  Undecided It was 37 deg when we left and maybe made the late 40's by afternoon. I headed home after reaching the destination to pick Kit up at home and headed to apple bees for some food. Went to my HD friends house and chatted and rolled home at 8p tonight. Long day but was nice to ride with a group. Usually they don't start group rides till May. Car tire handled great. Bumped psi up to 38 and might stick with that. I did get a 'oh yea I have a ct' feeling as we were riding side by side and I was on the outside. Wanted to set me up due to the highway being a little ruff and slanted.  Shocked I slowed to about 60 and was better. Still like it tho!

Hey Fudgie, glad to hear you getting used to that tire, i run mine at 40psi. Works for me. I have 10,000 miles on mine now and will never go back. I will go to a better tire next time. I have learned to behave myself more with this tire, maybe i am getting older and have more sense or i am scared. But the one thing i learned is to respect the Valkyrie. Have fun and i will see you this summer.
