Went out to the local CycleGear store today to look at helmets.

Went in to look at the SCORPION EXO-700 Predator Full-Face Motorcycle Helmet. on sale for $229.00

Also shown the SHOEI RF-1100 helmet.   Nice helmet.
Found the SHOEI RF-1100 Monolith Full-Face Motorcycle on sale for $299 (graphic design is being discontinued), seems like a great price.

I am lean toward the SHOEI.

Looking for feedback on both helmets.

You tried them on I guess... is it a toss-up as to which one fits-best/is-comfortable... bad for me is
pinched cheeks, I'd be miserable.

How about  being able to see out of them... ?

Is one lighter?

They're probably both good helmets, I like my Shoei...

I don't own either but have tried them both on.  If the fit is equal (the most important criteria) I would take the shoei RF1100.  It has interchangable cheek pad widths for a better fit.  It also has better ventilation then the Scorpion. At that Shoei price I'd buy 2  Wink

Both are good helmets.

You can look at the reviews at webbikeworld

That's a screamin' deal on the Shoei!  If it fits, I'd go with the Shoei.  My wife has the RF1100 and I have an RF1000.

We both have Scorpion half helmets and can only wear them on short rides because they are shaped a little funny for us.  My wife's Scorpion has had some issues with the trim coming off.  Mine has been fine.

I have the rf1000 which I love but sometimes I hear a buzzing sound that I dont hear with the half helmet

Fortunately when the stereo is loud enough it dont bother me much
