I think it looks legitimate.  The price is a little high to be an average scam.

The ad does say it can be seen.

Saying it can be checked out lets me think it is real.  And, as Willow says, the price is high to be a normal scam.  Anyone in the area want to check it out.

We hear here all the time about guys getting deals.  This would be one of them.

If I was still doing the weekly produce run from CA, I would check it out.  Went right thru Hisperia every Sunday PM

looks like the same ad that ran a couple years back. guess the old guy died twice. still be interesting to see what its all about. you probably have to pay a fee to get the address from the "administrator" to go see it. someone out west needs to call his bluff. if its real let me know i'll go get it. cooldude

You never know about estate sales.... Years ago when my father was a real estate agent he was asked, mainly as a favor, to sell 2 vehicles that were in the garage of a house he had listed. The heirs {adult children up north} did not want to come down to handle their parents estate. There was an old Ford Bronco which sold for $3,000. About a week after the Bronco sold the buyer called Dad & said he needed to talk. Uh-Oh.
Guy comes to the office & told Dad he found a brown paper bag taped up to the bottom of the drivers seat.... with $3,500 in cash all in 20s & 100s.  Shocked Shocked Shocked
He asked Dad what to do. Dad said you bought it as-is, it's all yours, good & bad.  cooldude

You just never know!! Cool
