It is amazing what you can learn about a person that you have never met through his friends.  I am sorry for the pain of his loss.  I am content to know that I will not only get to meet him one day, but get to ride with him as well... on those golden roads described in the first message.

What is amazing is how each of you described his dash...  you know, that small line between two dates.

Sounds like he created quite a legacy...

Makes me look at how my dash is going.....

R.I.P. Brian.  Always enjoyed the edjumication of the song/band of the day... always enjoyed the good banter too.  May God's peace and comfort flood the hearts of the loved ones left behind.

I dont know that I ever met Brian (maybe briefly at Inzane) but I think of all the incredible and most compassionate people I know and I see clearly what kind of person BS Nicely was and I know the same of the company he kept. See you on the other side Brian !

My condolences to all of Brian's family (which includes us too).  The world lost a truly good man and he will be missed. Ever since Rhonda posted the notice of his untimely death, I've given lots of thought to my own mortality and extra thought to one comment she made.... that Brian and Steve are riding their Valks together on roads more perfect than I can imagine... and that makes me smile inside and feel a little better.

Godspeed Brian - you left your part of this world  better than you found it.

This is embarrassing, I had read a lot of Brian's musical posts, and from what I'd read, assumed that BS Nicely was his handle, not his name, because he wrote about it so well. I added a couple of new artists to my music collection based on his recommendations. My heart goes out to those that knew and loved him, sorry I didn't make his acquaintance.
