I recently found a set of GL 1500 passenger floorboards online and am wondering if there is a way to mount them to a 96 Valkyrie Tourer.

The bike currently has the stock passenger footpegs and I am wondering if there are standard mounting holes to install the floorboards.

Thanks for any advice you can provide.

I mounted some 1800 floorboard on my tourer. I have a folder that tells how I done it. Headed out to GOTF this morning. When I get back I'll see if I can find it. The ones I mounted was the Kuryakyn transformer boards.

Warlock was kind enough to give me the directions, which I completed. If you e-mail me I would send you the photos and directions. Thanks again to warlock.

Bumblebee do you still have those instructions? I've never done an install before.

Cogsman- I don't have the instructions but I could take a picture of the finished product. I made the brackets by bending repair plates from the hardware store in a vice using a hammer. Very simple and took me about 30 minutes to complete plus painting. Email me with you email address or cell phone number and I can text you a picture.

They will not fit on a 96 Valk , but will work on a 97 and up.
