Hi all,
I just signed up and am trying to get familiar with the VRCC.  I'm new at everything at this point! My best friend took me on a bike ride 7 years ago and I've been hooked ever since!  I've been riding with him all these years and loving every minute of it.  We've been a lot of beautiful places and have had some amazing experiences on his Valk.

It finally came time for me to become more independent and buy my own Bumble Bee!  But just days after I bought her, I fell and broke my wrist, so she's been waiting in my garage for far too long.

I am finally riding!  I have lots to learn and hope you all will be there to help with advice!

Wow!  Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome.

I'm still not familiar with how the "board" works but hopefully I'll catch on soon.
Michael K --- saw your video...it was awesome.  Have done that ride many times but never experienced it from that perspective (I've always been on the back of the bike!)  Hopefully it won't be too long before I have enough confidence to take my baby out and do that ride in the "drivers seat"!

I'm in Phoenix, Arizona, by the way, Wink Wink and the last two days have been brutal, heat-wise.  We're just shy of 100 degrees and it's only April 1st.  I'm just not ready for the triple digits.  I envy you guys who are complaining of cooler weather.

Will learn how to post pix and such...just need a little more time to get acquainted!

Welcome aboard QB !!  Enjoy the coolest bike made !! Sorry to hear about the wrist.

Don't take this personally but if you're new to the sport a good thing to do is enlist in a motorcycle safety course .... will get you you discount on insurance to boot.

Aw...shucks, you guys.  You're making me fell all warm and fuzzy!  Thanks for that.

Sodbuster:  You're right...I never would have had the courage to start riding if I hadn't first taken the saftety course and then practiced on my good friend's smaller bike for a couple of weeks before I bit the bullet and started riding the Valk.   So far, so good.  I'm taking it slow and being very cautious.

Misfit:  I can't believe you remember that!  Good memory.  Are you a bartender?!?  Grin

Michael K: You'll have to be patient until I'm good enough to ride with you.  I hope it won't take too long. coolsmiley

Hope all of you have had a great Saturday and got some riding time in.  This weekend, Arizona  is having the big to-do for bike week here in Phoenix at Westworld.  We spent the whole day there in this gawd-awful heat but had a great time.  'Course, I'm pretty worn out now and it's time for bed.

Thanks tons for making me feel like one of the family.

Right!  I know, Kendall!  Actually you're riding the blue and cream that I originally wanted for myself.  I love that bike.  Hopefully, Chuck and I can both join you and Des on a ride as soon as I'm good enough to ride to Payson or somewhere.  Looking forward to it!

Welcome to the Group! You can have any kind of help you're needing right here. Hope you get your "Confidence" sooner than later. I used to live in Gila Bend. Do you know the place? It has changed since the freeway bypassed the town. How long have you lived in the desert?

Welcome to the "group"... I'll be headed to Peria sometime in May to visit my daughter and her family and if you and yours are up for a ride while I'm there, I'm sure there are some "cool" hot places to see down there..I plan of being there at least a month, with my "black beauty" and always ready for a ride, heat or no heat..

again,

Welcome to the MADNESS that is the Valkyrie Riders Cruiser Club!  Roll Eyes
I hope to be in the wind with you soon and you alone, will know when that time is right. You have experienced the ride two up for many years and now has come the time to navagate your Bee on your own. She will do all that is asked of her and more. Riding is a love and a passion we all share and I have seen them both in you.  cooldude
