Curious of what you think.

Do you think anything will come of them?  Or will a bunch of folks be arrested for unlawful assembly, littering, inciting riots, etc.???

I was watching the news lately.  Not much credence given to them, at least by the news anyway.

Just curious

Everyone where I worked mailed teabags to the White House but I doubt I'll see any rallies.

I must work but my wife will be at the one in Hunstville,Al. It looks like they will get a good turn out here in Huntsville. The news guys will most likely find something more important to report like a cat stuck up in a tree, unless they get permission from Obama's people to put it on the news broadcast.

I'm sure there will be crowds in the tens, but you can you watch Faux Noise (Fox News) where they'll report thousands.

I am going to one, and have friends going to a couple others.  I'll report the numbers, but expect they'll be good turnouts.

They had one in Charlotte, NC recently it went well. Orderly. Properly. A little news attention.

What will come of it? Probably nothing. But I am suprised how well organized these are.

We had one here in Orlando about three-four weeks ago that turned out great. Estimated 5,000 people showed up. Very good speakers with a good message. No trouble at all but I did spot what appeared to be your garden variety anarchist complaing to a cop that he didnt feel safe there. Don't know why, everyone seemed to be ignoring the knuckle-head.

By the way...I didnt see very many tea bags  Smiley

I'm going to 2, Houston and Sugar Land. The Radio Gods, walton & Johnson reported that the media significantly reduced the reported outcome (by as much as 70%) at previous rallys. So, the Houston rally has a sign in sheet and a collection bin for teabags. It will be interesting to see if any of the Tea Party's get coverage.

I am guessing about 1600 in Clear Lake.  I am pretty sure that is a minimum.  The park was full of right-wing extremists who poured a barrel of tea in the lake!
I heard there were about 600 in Friendswood last night, by police count.  ;-)

In Carson City, Nevada we had about 2500 per the news.  When I was there it looked like a huge crowd.  Senator Reid on the radio today put the crowd at 250 so I am sure he was trying to down play the event.

SCANNER............you were right. FOX NEWS did report and show hudreds and thousands of people that attended in various rallys all over the country. Not suprising, CNN had Larry King with Donald Trump on all that MSNBC was doing was "down playing" the turn out and comparing the numbers to that of dog shows and losing hockey teams.

Maybe you'll change your tune when the next set of Tea Party gatherings happen and you see those number grow dramatically. I could not attend today............because I was working.

There was @ 200 and growing as I left early. Shame though, they still want to be taxed. Was calling for a fair tax. Any tax that takes from me to give to someone who sits on their fat a__ all day while I bust my chops trying to make ends meet sure ain't fair to me. Long live the Confederacy.

It would be interesting to listen/see what it's all about. I would be carefull, they are looking to lable people. "detention" centers are in progress for right wing domestic "terrorists" a civilian armed force is being assembled for civil unrest. Guess that's one way around using Military on civilians. When they are hunting for wolves, dress and act like a sheep.(camoflouge) When you have to fight, fight like the wolf. I went so far as to take "NRA" stickers off my vehicles to prevent lableing, being a target for home invasion from the punks down here. Although I would truly like to see someone try. Wink
