And, as always, Britman has expanded my musical horizons. Man, I love this club.

If you're a true metal fan then Killswitch Engage is not obsure. Everyone is waiting for Howard Jones to come back so they can tear up the house again.

Try bands like Vampire Moose if you want obsure.

Land Elephant

Well, I used "obscure" in the sense that they're not as "famous" as Metallica, Iron Maiden et al.  I've been a fan since the release of their first CD.  I almost called it an album,,, that's how old I am   crazy2  And yes, Vampire Moose would qualify as "obscure" fer sure  Cheesy

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE will return with Howard Jones ‘singing’. After his rumored impregnation of a pornstar, Howard Jones will return to the KILLSWITCH ENGAGE fold, replacing stand-in Phil LaBonte of ALL THAT REMAINS:

Howard Jones Killswitch Engage Tour Dates are as follows:

May 19 – Norfolk, VA @ The NorVa
May 20 – Pittsburgh, PA @ Ches-A-Rena
May 21 – Rochester, NY @ Water Street Music Hall
May 22 – Columbus, OH @ Rock On The Range

Didn't quite mean it like that.  It was meant as a rhetorical question.  Of course, I'm a metal fan.  I do appreciate it though.

I saw Rammstein live in Lafayette, LA.  It was the Family Values Tour quite a few years ago.

They gay sang an entire song, on stage, ON FIRE!!!!

It was pretty crazy.  The ENTIRE floor of the Cajun Dome was a giant Mash Pit.
(That'll learn me for buying floor tickets!!!)

I got to see Theory of a Deadman live and was sorely disappointed.  They sounded SO much better on their CD...just like most of the current no-talent bands out there now.

For me, the true measuring stick is how they sound live.  Here are some of the best live acts I've heard in the hard rock scene:

Evanescence:
AMY DA LAURA

Shinedown:
Shinedown - I Dare You (acoustic)

Seether:
Seether - The Gift (Live Unplugged)

Other great live acts are Godsmack, Chevelle, Disturbed, Metallica, Limp Bizkit (didn't expect that one, but they were good), and Linkin Park - just to name a few.

Like your bands Kaiser. You must be younger.  Grin Would love to see seether. I know what you mean about sounding better on cd then live. Got to see Blue Oyster Cult and Alice cooper a few years ago at the B' Chip and they were alot better then I thought they would be. Kid Rock and Buckcherry were also great live.

Mr. Packer (yes, I read your post about how you got your handle. 2funny) - we like the same music and the same bikes.  Hopefully our paths will cross sometime in the near future and we can meet up and share some miles.

I'm 33, so in this crowd - yeah, I'm a young 'un.  About half the age of most of the guys/gals that ride Valks, seems to be.  You and Kit don't seem to be looking at retirement any time soon, so I've got to think that we are somewhat close in age.

You guys doin' Cheaha this year?  That's about the only VRCC gathering I can make with my current career and family demands.  Hope to meet you in person soon and in the mean time - keep rockin'!

Just turned 35 last month and Kits in her early 20's so no retirement looming yet.

No Cheaha this year, was there in 09 and had a ball. Lot of good folks there.
