Posting this on both boards.

OK,we all know that our Valks use radial tires. Darksiders use radial car tires; some with radial front M/C tires and others with a rear bias tire turned backwards.

I've had Bridgestones (junk), Avons that can't go 10K, and I've tried Metzlers that are a bit better than Avons in tire milage. My old GL1100 could easily get 30K on Elite IIs.

So besides JimC of Wisconson, has anyone else used bias belted tires front and rear? I'm considering useing a Dunlop 402 16" on the rear and a Dunlop 404 17" in front.

Has anyone done this, and what type of mileage have you got from those bias belted tires?

My Valk is on it's 4th. D-404 Front not the rear turned around. The wear is good I check the air pressure weekly after the bike sits all night so the tire is cool. Now I'm running 38#.

Mileage has been 14k to 23k miles. The lower mileage I changed early wanting to have full tread for a cross country trip.

The rear has been GTT 205/60/16 not the Bias front and rear you asked for but thought you'd be interested in the D-404 results.

ct on the rear and bias on the front, already has what the E-3's could get on the front and still looks good, great handling too.
