All I can say is wooo hooo I went to the dark side about 3 months ago and was ready to go back to the light UNTIL I started playing with the pressure I put 40 # in the front Avon and 30# in the altimax and all I can say is the FAT LADY'S back its amazing how much difference the air pressure makes I'm sold !!!!

Yeah, the pressure does make a difference. I was glad I knew about it before I went DarkSide. If I hadn't I would have gone back the first time the tire drug me into the a semi tire rut. I was told the tendency of the tire to do that decreases with a lowering in air pressure.
Congratulations. It just gets better from here.

This particular thread makes me wonder...not necessarily a good thing, lol...
I know tire pressure are indeed important, particularly with the DS..what I find weird is that my Federal 535 tire seems to act just the opposite of everyone else' DS tire...the lower the pressure the worse it is...at 36 and under it's all over the road....at 41 lbs, I don't even notice most of the tar snakes, but seems a bit more "floppy" in the corners at speed..but still my kinda set up..
