I have severly injured my big left toe, which would keep me from riding for a long time.  I think I could manage with a heel shifter.  I found the rattlebars, but they are not available for a couple months and a little pricey.  I was wondering if any has these and what the input is and what other brands are available.  Maybe someone has one they would sell or even lend?

I tried a couple of other brands before I went with the kickshifter of Rattlebars.

It might be pricey, but it is worth every dime you spend on it......

The other shifters, the problem I had with them was I had to turn my toes out to up shift and to turn my heel out to down shift.  With Chet's you leave your foot straight and push with the heel or the toe, depending on which way you are headed in the tranny.

Don't hesitate, I have one of the rattlebars shifter and would not go back.  cooldude Quality merchandise, it's worth the wait. Check our Classifieds, put in a Wanted Ad as well. Ebay has them from time to time as well.

I purchased a Rattlebar system 4 years ago, and I use it every day.
Good quality and easy to use ....after 2 weeks of training!!! Grin(It's true - the first time you try it  you cry and want to get your money back. But day after day you can't shift without it )

Yep, I agree, go with the Rattlebars shifter.... it's money very well spent and they are pretty rugged too... Good Luck!

If you'd asked a few weeks ago, I'd have sold you one for $70. A guy in Houston bought it. Perfect shape too.
