Began the process of installing my shiny new Kury grips, went to remove the end caps, and one screw wouldn't come out.  Finally had to pry the thing off.  Hmm... guess which screw was the problem? Looks like they have come up with a new screw innovation at Kuryakyn headquarters! 2funny



Was just jammed in there, threads in the grip frame were all munged up.  Luckily was able to turn a 4-40 tap through the hole this morning and all is well.

Tonight, we install!

LOL Used to run in to that a lot when I worked building firetrucks. Would find them in the bin we had thousands of screws in. Sad part is someone had to see that before they installed it.  Sad

Reminds me of an Autolite spark plug I sold a guy years ago. Seven were perfectly threaded but the eighth one had NO threads at all! We told the guy it was the new "drive-in" style. Cheesy Cheesy

Makes you wonder about "quality control" sometimes!
