Stars and Stripes VRCC #32857

Grain Valley , MO.

« on: April 06, 2011, 05:56:51 PM »

Well another newbie with another recycled Valkyrie. I hale from Missouri and have been riding a 2007 Sabre 1100 for the last three years. Before that I had a 1986 Shadow 500. Been lurking as a guest for several months trying to learn about the Fat Lady. Finally got a coworker to buy my Sabre and I started looking for an Interstate. Found this one in Iowa, a 1999 with a custom paint job. It has been sitting for several years. Got it started with the help of a Valkyrie friend on the cell phone. Dumped seafoam in the gas tank and road it home 240 miles. It never coughed once on the way home. Got it at the stealers to get inspection for new tags. Im sure I'll have questions galore and I'll try not to pester anyone.

What part of Missouri are you from?  In the St. Louis area.

Welcome to the forum and to the Valk.  I know you won't be disappointed.

Welcome to the assylum.   You're gonna learn a lot from some of the most experienced and talented Valk people on the planet.
At least yours has most of the chrome on it already, so you won't have to spend the money dressing her all up.

Again, welcome.

Welcome to the board.  There are quite a few riders from Missouri, but most of them are on the other side of the state.  You are actually closer to several of the Kansas riders.  You might check out the Kansas riders thread also.  That being said, if you are ever near Maryville...............

welcome to the family

I am pretty certain there will be at least a bunch of Valkyries passing your town on the way to Inzane this year.

Been through Kansas before, there is at least 2 curves that I can remember in Lawrence. Dont remember any in KC
