we hate to miss Cheaha.  Sad I hope we can hook up soon Warren. Maybe when you head north later on this year. I know once you said a friend had told ya to see Transylvania Count here in NC. Man there is some beautiful country up there. I'd love to show ya around.  Gotta see what we can do. Are you planning any trips this time in other than Cheaha?

I promise, we will hook up.  This time in, with Easter, a lot of time has been spent with G-Babies.  This week, I am trying to do some honey do's since I will leave for 5 weeks instead of 4.  Mowers that Red uses when I am gone threw a rock through our window in our door and trying to find a replacement that is cheaper than the door itself!  We bought these french doors for like $350 and they want $400 to replace the glass....Come on folks!  I mean the mower guy is going to pay us back or work it off, but it's the principle of the thing....

Hung wooden blinds in Red's kitchen.  Changed out lights in her bathroom.  Had to change out computers since I sold mine in Angola (and all the software had to be reloaded).  Company has deadlines for a bunch of chit for April 30, so having to get online every day (even though I am on days off) and take care of that.  Spent a couple of days paying the government for the Romp in The Swap - 2 years ago.  I sold stock to pay for it.  I kinda figured that it was my stock, paid for with my money.....Well, the government didn't see it that way.  I am having to pay gain/loss taxes for the transaction - gonna have to pay next year for the 2008 Romp, I reckon.  I always used my employee stock purchase to pay for these hoots.  They hit me with some major penalties and interest....Filled out a new Schedule D and resubmitted - I will have to see what they hit me for now. (And that was just my first week home).  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Now, I gotta get over to Hard6's and get new skins on the rear of Traveler - folks think we live in the same town - he lives like 70 miles away from me - one way.

Ranger is wanting me to go up and see the stuff done on the Casa in East Texas, so I need to see if I can get up there next week.

But then the BEST OF THE BEST ACTUALLY HAPPENS!!!!  CHEAHA BABY!  Got the room, checks in the mail.....talked to Hard6 this evening about riding up with me...have to see.....This is going to be my BIG ride in this time in......

I did go for cigarettes today (with the new taxes that raised cigarette costs by more than 100%) and came home 160 miles later - weather was beautiful today!!!!!!

So, sorry to be so long winded, but I don't think I will have time for much else this time in.  I will leave out for Africa the Thursday after Cheaha.  And until I leave to go to Cheaha - I need to get to Hard6's and may ride up to East Texas - that is going to eat up my time in - with the normal "day to day" stuff of being home half the time.

I will see you two soon - I swear!!!!  BEEN WAY TOO LONG!!!!!

Grin You are too busy Strider. I can imagine being gone from home for weeks at a time would leave a man with much to do when he does get home. Give JP my regards and I'll hope we can hook up next time you are in country. Main thing is for you to get the honeydo's done and get some time in the wind.  cooldude
