I was rooting around the other day trying to find some last minute tax papers when I ran across the folder of all the receipts, paperwork and suff for the Bumblebee that Larry had given me when I bought the bike from him. Larry was the original owner and a very well organized man. He had many bikes in his garage and in my opinion, he sold the best bike he had. I had never really looked in the folder before, I had opened it at Larry's house when I bought the bike and glanced through it, yup, all receipts. But when I found it this time I decided to look through it a bit. Well, I could not believe what I found. First off was an 8 1/2" X 11" thin cardboard advertisement for.............you guessed it, the HONDA VALKYRIE!

On the back side of this was all the important stats along with the Honda trademark and a date of 1996.

I thought this was a pretty cool find. I looked in the folder again and towards the back of all this paper work I found a Motorcycle Cruiser Magazine dated Fall of 1996 and you guessed it, the Honda Valkyrie was on the cover.

Inside was a rather long article about our beloved Valkyrie.

Even back then.........THEY KNEW!!!!!!!

WELL............I was rather happy and in a pretty good mood after this terrific find that I figure I am one of the few that has something like this when I noticed another rather thin Magazine way in the back. HOLY COW I had never seen this before but here it was. An official publication of the Honda Rider's Club of America July/August 1996 Red Rider magazine! Take a look at the custom Valk on the cover.

Inside was an article about the Valk and some custom mods you could do. The bike on the cover and on the inside is a bike customized by Cobra.
VERY VERY COOL!!!!

So......that was my rare and ear grinnen happy find for me this week. Hope you enjoyed this little story and if any are wondering....NO....I did not find the paperwork I was looking for but what I did find made me SMILE and THAT is what counts!

Wonder how much they are worth?

Cool, I have that same photo of the Red and White Valkyrie, It's been hanging in the garage since 97 when I first saw that bike, I liked it so much I framed it in oak and hung it up, Wasn't til 04 before I finally became a Valkyrie owner, And I ended up with this one instead , and I'm still loving it!
