I lost an uncle i never knew at normandy. Dad was to young for war 1 to old for war 2. He did a stint in the national guard. Half brother on my moms side was occupation forces japan after war 2. Lost a cousin(army major) in vietnam. Guy i went to school with(marine) less than a month in country(vietnam again) K I A. My brother did a hitch in the army. I did a tour and 3/4 off the coast of nam. Where am i going with this you ask??? This ex airedale squid is kinda partial to ANY military people. I know i'm not capable of running around on the flight deck anymore(i could but i would be K I S-killed in stupidity for even trying it at my age-really a young mans job). We have to send our youngest and our very best-and i SALUTE each and every one of them. My prayers and best wishes to them and their families. We have to always remember-freedom ain't FREE-never has been-never will be. O-k i'll get off the soap box now. RIDE SAFE. and sleep well-our military stands at the ready 24/7.

+1.

Problem is our spineless politicians prevent them from getting the job done and in turn cause alot of uneeded casualties.  God bless and safeguard all who serve/d.
