What kind and what is the size of ape hanger are they using on the Valks.

Valks use 1" bars.
Choose your favorite from most any HD custom accessory cataloge.
Then contact Motion-Pro or Barnett Eng. for longer throttle cables clutch and brake hoses. You will have to lenthen the wiring to both ends of the bars by the appropriate length.

"They " aren't using ape hangers on Valks because it would ruin the control and looks of a beautiful bike. Why to you want to arrive with numb hands?

1 word of advice from a retired LEO.

IF, you will ever be riding in California, the grips can only be 6" higher than your shoulder setting on the seat.   If pulled over and it measures more than allowed, bike can be impounded, especially if you are in Orange County, that be in the LA area..

It would also be advisable to contact the DOT in your home state, and see what your law is, if there is one.
