Picked up a 1973 Honda CL350 K5 today..... I had a 70's CL350 as my first bike in HS so I figured it was time to get connected with my roots. Applied for the antique title/registration during transfer and this is one of the pics I had to send in with the paperwork.

Been sitting for a little while and can be temperamental in starting, so I added some Seafoam to the tank and will clean the plugs and adjust the points/timing this week (and also do an oil change..... filter is internal and just gets cleaned not replaced.) I will also give it a good cleaning and waxing as well. Fun little thing....

The 360T was my first bike, too. I bought it brand new for $600 in 1975. I have a lot of great memories riding that thing all over the state when I was sixteen and seventeen.

That brings back good memories.  My brother and I bought new matching gold CL350's back in 70 or 71, can't remember exact date.  They were great bike's!   Thanks the the post.

I had a '70 while in the Air Force while in Okinawa with my wife. Great memories! Smiley

We rode that thing all over the Island, on road, dirt roads, etc. Did'nt know then they were'nt good in dirt. Ahh, youth!!! Showed my wife the pic you submitted, and she recognized it also right off the bat.

Thanks for posting.

Funny how that works.... they both look pretty good.  We might have to share parts info, only things I can think it needs now is possibly some new cables and a Tach face (got a Tach on Ebay I'm looking at).... and a rear tire.  Also looking at an electronic ignition module to replace the points.... but not sure I want to go that route .... will see how a little old school tune up helps it out.  Here is the link for the Elec Igntion on Ebay in case you might be considering it...   http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380328182471&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Mine was more of a classic, picked it up 4 months ago, and did a total restoration. Kind of a neat little bike, 1982 450 cc automatic, but surprising it will run, had it out yesterday and it did not have a problem getting up to 90 mph. Had more but did not push it.

Before rework.

After restoration.

I still have my 1971 KI--750 Four that I bought new for $1495.00.  It starts with a touch of the button and still looks new. Candy apple red w/gold trim and chrome fenders w/15,000 miles.

It is a trike, kind of put on hold while the wife was sick. Getting back on it, laying up the glass body work. Probably will finish it later this year.

I am amazed.  I can barely do most of the necessary maintenance on my bikes, but I can't make a bike.

Now while you're on a roll..... do you have any pictures of that nice trailer you built from scratch?

Thanks for posting.

(I think I'll go make a set of bookends    Grin)

Yeah, that's the one.  All great work.

Hey Bill......... it's nice to be home during the work week ain't it?

Get up, have coffee, peruse the web, have a bite to eat, run to the store, mow the lawn, have some lunch, take a nap.    It does not get any better.    Smiley
