Here is another update on my u-joint failure of June 2010. I have been promised at least 4 dates on my back ordered drive line Yoke for my 99 Interstate.

August 2010      cooldude

Feb 28, 2011       Angry

March 31,2011      Undecided

and now                            JUNE 14 2011   !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!         tickedoff

That is over a year for a failure prone part !!!!!!!! Fits the Goldwing also. I am sure there are a lot of unhappy customers over this item.

Yes, I do like my WeeStrom, it is a fun little scoot. It is good to get info that every brand has their issues. One would never think that even BMW has final drive and bearing issues

SHHHHHEEEEET!!  BMW stands for Bring More Wallets because reliability is fleeting.  One of my riding buddies has an '02 K1200LT and is on his 4th final drive bearing.  Shimming a bearing to set preload seems a stupid way to do things.
