How do you know you are pursuing an odd college research topic? When you are having trouble finding the last Jason Williams movie from the Danger Zone series. Danger Zone was a series of low budget biker films that went straight to VHS rental stores. It was never terribly successful or acclaimed but they made 3 sequels with the same set of characters (more or less).
I think I finally found a copy of Danger Zone 3 under the title Death Riders. That will join my VHS copies of Danger Zone 1 and Danger Zone 2 (Reaper's Revenge).
I should now need to track down Danger Zone 4: Mad Girls Bad Girls.
Or is #4 aka Death Riders? I have that as an alternate title for both in my notes. Is that a problem in my notes or did they retitle both movies with the same title? I'm trusting my notes on this one that #4 had the alternate title because the dates lined up and that my scribble about #3 is wrong.
So, how do you know when your college research is odd? When you find yourself sitting up at night trying to figure out what the alternate release title of Danger Zone #3 and #4 could be or when you are researching the Danger Zone movies?

He doesn't appear to have worked on a movie since about 1995. That may not bode well. If he is alive I will have to interview this guy. That would be cool.
ps. If anyone has a copy of Danger Zone #3 sitting around I would love to borrow it. They are getting hard to find.
