You can get the top-rated weapon-mounted tactical LED light at Optics Planet for just a bit over half price.  You may know, a weapon mounted light is standard equipment for SWAT teams and other LEOs who must do assault entries.  It's also just about the best piece of equipment you can add to your defensive kit, after the firearm.  You need to ID your target - make sure it's not a family member - you can take words back, but you can't recall bullets.  This is the Streamlight TLR-1 130 lumen (160 for the 1s) C4 LED - DAZZLINGLY BRIGHT, blinds the BG.  If you get the 1S, it's brighter and has a photostrobe function to disorient the perp. These mount directly to Glock-style rails. ( I got the fobus tactical holster, Kydex, for Glocks with lights etc on the rail, works well. ) These are $90 off right now. The link is http://www.opticsplanet.net/streamlight-tlr1-weapon-mounted-flashlight.html  With a Crimson Trace laser grip ( there's a $50 rebate going on right now ), this tactical light, and some time at the range, and I have capabilities suitable for a C.O.P.s episode!
