I've rejoined my carbs after taking them all apart for cleaning and new jets. Replaced all orings everywhere, including the fuel and air lines between the carbs.
When mating the carbs together, I pushed the fuel lines, air lines, and/or three-ways into one carb until it seemed like they seated. Then I pushed the carbs together until everything was snugged up side by side.
My question: When I put the long rods back through the dowels and tightened the nuts to draw everything firmly together - I'm assuming that drew the fuel, air, and threeways tightly enough in their respective holes to achieve a seal?
I'm out of time this weekend. Next weekend will be reattachment of the throttle link arm and installation of the Dan Marc. I'm inching ever closer to (hopefully) being done with this project
