Where do you get those Small Chrome Air filters that fit on top of the fake stacks on our Valkyrie carbs?

Several years ago I just HAD to have that look. I went to 5 different Auto Zone stores to get 6 of 'em. Thought they were pretty cool for awhile, then it seems like every 2nd Valk I would see had 'em on. So I pulled mine off, just to be different(again)  Grin

Yep, I didn't want the same thing everyone else had. So....One cold winter's night I set out to make my own. I took six chrome tailpipe extensions and cut them down. I then took some Alum. screen and formed it over a plastic cap from a rattle paint can. I then painted the inside of the pipe gloss black, and used silicone to assemble it all. I am very happy with results.

I got mine at O'Reilly's also.  They only had one on the shelf, so I had them order the rest.  Took less than a week for them to come in.  They were around $10 each.
