I restored a 1972 Yamaha 350. Well not to OEM, but more as a "Gentlemans Express"; lower bars, Italian surgical rubber grips, bar end nirrors, Donlop TT 100 tires, and a K&N filter.

It was a sale made at a destination stye shop; Cafe Racer Ypsi in old Depot Town in Ypsilanti MI. They are always looking for historic sport machines for their showroom. They are a Biker Coffee House and gallery for unique retro helmets, hand made jewelry, unique signage and some of the baddest Tee shirts you ever saw (black only), and a full Restoration/Race  shop in the rear. (I did the resto myself though).
Their website is: www.caferacerypsi.com

I got a ton of cash and ideas for another Valk, but garage space is still limited.

If I were in your wonderful situation, I'd get an old beat-up
Valk, bore it out and supercharge it. That would be a Dogg-gone
good idea!

Also, get a wrecked goldwing, and make it a naked bike.
Wasn't there one of those pictured here once upon a time?

How about an old harley frame, put a 125ci S&S engine in it,
with a hidden shot of go-go.        So many ideas.

The next time I'm in Michigan I'll have to check out that place. Looks like a neat spot to visit.
