Last fall I put my Valkyrie to sleep for the winter by shutting off the gas and draining the carbs through the drain screws and hoses. I have awaken my bike, but find gas continues to leak from the carb drain tubes. I have retightened the drain screws, but still get a leak. Any suggestions?

The drain screws for the carb bowls have a small o-ring on them.  If they havent been opened in a whhile they stick to the bowl, and may be damaged when opened.  Check with red eye tech, Rich may have them. his o-rings are Viton I think, and hold up a LOT better than the stock bits. Nothing special to change them, just back out the drain screws and swap. cooldude

It could be from the overflow tube on one side or the other indicating a stuck float.  There are two tubes that tie 3 carbs each to one overflow tube per side.  They exit near the rear carbs and are originally inserted into the chrome brace just in front of the petcock, only lower.

The float bowl drain screws bottom out to stop the gas and the o-ring is there simply to keep the gas (when you are draining the float bowl) from leaking from around the screw.  So if you are truly leaking gas from the drain,  with the screw tightened down,  there is a bigger problem than simply a bad o-ring.
