Good news for the right in Canada. The Tories just won a majority government.


The Tory platform “Here for Canada” plan focuses on five key priorities:

    Creating jobs through training, trade and low taxes.
    Supporting families through our Family Tax Cut and more support for seniors and caregivers.
    Eliminating the deficit by 2014-2015 by controlling spending and cutting waste.
    Making our streets safe through new laws to protect children and the elderly.
    Standing on guard for Canada by investing in the development of Canada’s North, cracking down on human smuggling and strengthening the Canadian Armed Forces.

Well, since I'm in the military its a relief to know that our government is committed to a strong defense posture and new equipment for the Canadian Armed Forces.

Yeah-let us know how gettin that budget thingy workin right goes for ya'll. Here in the lower 48 (keeping in mind that i'm 66 yrs old ) i've been listening to political promises most of my life. If these folks COULD balance a budget do you really think they would be in government service??  They come in all bright eyed and bushy tailed-and then the old timers clue em in and the problem continues. If i pissed my money away like uncle sugar does-wouldn't have been able to raise 6 kids own a coupla cars boats motorcycles and support 2 ex wives. How much more could i have had if you or i weren't payin so much in taxes?? It's up to another generation now to see if you can get this bull crap we pass off for a government workin like it was supposed back in 1776. I got less in front of me than i got behind me. No i ain't givin up-just time to turn over the reins. Losa luck young uns. Ya'll gonna need it. RIDE SAFE.
