Basically this would make it illegal to own a firearm - any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless:

..It is registered
.You are fingerprinted
.You supply a current Driver's License
.You supply your Social Security #
.You will submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of their choosing
.Each update - change or ownership through private or public sale must be reported and costs $25
- Failure to do so you automatically lose the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in jail.

.There is a child provision clause on page 16 section 305 stating a child-access provision. Gun must be locked and inaccessible to any child under 18.

The Government would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing your gun safely away from accessibility to children and fine is punishable for up to 5 yrs. in prison.

Down here in the land of AUZ we have virtually allowed our guvment to dissarm us to the point that the ony people who have guns are the criminals.
You are not allowed to own specific types of guns,
you must belong to a gun club, and the type of gun is specified by membership.
you can have your guns conficated for virtually any offence (a friend lost his because he put his feet on the seat of a train and didnt pay the fine, so they took his gun) its also automatic confiscation if you have a restraining order placed on you by anyone, even before you have a chance to reply, so if you have a noisy neighbor, you just take out a restraining order and "whoosh" his gun and licence is gone.
you cant own or wear a bullet proof vest (makes it too hard for the criminals to shoot you).
Knives are illegal, anywhere , anytime.
and anything which can be deemed a weapon can get you fined and jailed.
We have no bill of rights, we are guilty until we can prove our innocence (they deny it but its a fact)
and with the new police powers they have in the land of AUZ the police can enter your house without a warrant or even when you are not there (saves a lot of trouble when planting evidence)
Dont get me wrong, I love my country, but we have lost our way. Giving away all our rights is a bad thing, so fight while you have the chance.
