Just what causes the blueing of the pipes?  I see some bikes there pipes are all shinny then some are blue

It's the little Blue Grimlins...

Actually it is from the heat of the exhaust.

The stock Honda exhaust headers are double walled. The outter chrome pipe therefore does not get nearly as hot.
The aftermarket exhaust are only single walled and they will get hot. The heat will cause the chrome to discolor and turn blue.
(this is the extent of my scientific knowledge on the subject)

Even the stock pipes can show bluing if the chock is left on or maybe the engine is run hard without the bike (or air) moving.
