After reading Melvin's post about the death of a shirt tail cousin... a cousin removed a whole bunch but you are related somehow maybe thru marriage or just lost to the ages and ya dont remember

Got an invite from my very good college friend, now related thru marriage as he is shirttail cousin to Bonnie. His kids wedding in Rochester MN is in June.   Damn I was just  riding down the road on my Valkyrie at LaCrosse WI, with a detour in Minnesota (thanks Keith) last year so why couldn't the kid get hitched then but then thought as we get older we can pick what we do and make our opportunities for great memories

Money be cursed, ya cant take it with you and if you are in debt at the end so what, insurance is for that, so live it up and seize the day so Bonnie and I are flying out there in June and gonna dance at the wedding and laugh with friends about how silly and lucky we were way back when and make some new memories   Hope to see and visit with TP and his wife while there as well

When the end comes I do not intend to say dang I wish I did this or that
I will know I had the crap scared outa me at the Snake, the Million Dollar Highway, the Ozarks roads slick with pig and chicken guts and hundreds of other terrific roads that have no guard rails, as well as hurricanes at least one tornado and all kinda weather,   And I hope to ride the rest of the country while I have my health whether alone or with my wife and friends.  My role model is Gilligan and Navigator hope they are well wherever they are now

Isnt it funny that city driving on truck filled highways where I could get squished dont ever scare me even a little bit but put me on a little ole road with twists and where I cant see around the bend in the rain will tense me up real good?

So ride your Valkyries or whatever turns you on wherever you want my friends, smile in the wind and see you at the Powwow and Maggie Valley

Next year I hope I will see you at Inzane wherever it is.

The beauty of the Twisties is you are not thinking about anything but survival. No awards or ceremonies, just good ole

I am still alive and willing to try them again.

As a long term survivor of the Dragon, I know what I am talking about.

You just lose yourself for a while not worrying about work or home or anything.

Just having fun.

When it is no longer fun I will take up Golf( NOT INTENDED TO GIVE GOLF A BAD NAME) or basket weaving.

Keep on Keeping on,,, OSS Dude.
