Would here be any advantage in mixing the two , or would that be too much advance ..... I heard that 4 degree trigger wheel used on the gw's works the best with the I/S ICM .....I'm thinking about changing  if there is any advantage ... maybe ! depending on the feed back ....... Thanks Old Geezer Richard

Too much, use the 4 degree wheel with the I/S ICM.

Hey DFRAGIN , have you used this combo before on your bike and exactly what did you gain or loose and are the ICM units very expensive used or new ..... I heard that the 6 deg trig wheel and the I/S ICM would add too much advance and cause some serious pinging which I don't need ..... right now I using the 6 deg wheel and  I/S springs and am pretty pleased with the performance ..... but I love to experiment and see whats the best I can gey out of my Fat Lady ...... Thanks Old Geezer Richard

O.G.

I have an I/S ICM in my Tourer sans Trigger Wheel. I did install the ETC mod to take advantage of the cold engine advance at will (dial-in).

If my rememberer is functioning, the I/S ICM advance is around 3-5 degrees more over the C/CT models ICM's thus making a 6 degree wheel a bit much, as reported for several years, causing pre-ignition problems with Interstate's. I/S owners claimed much better results with the 4 degree wheel.

I would stick with your current setup. I doubt it's worth or much different from spending $150.00 for a used I/S ICM or $300.00 for a new one and reverting to a 4 degree wheel. I just don't think I would be able to sense the difference other than in my wallet. IMHO
