Dumb Canuck needs some help. Replaced front pads on 2000 Valk, cannot get lever pressure.
Right caliper hops in and out on slides but left just bites down, no movement on slides, loose after release. Pulled left and slide pins work freely. Have had good success bleeding other systems but doesn't seem to be helping here.
Something else I should look for? Or need to work on my bleeding technique?

I bled the left one first with a vacum bleeder and an extra set of hands.(mamas) Don't let level in master cylinder get low. Than bleed the right one. The honda manual and the manal that came with the bleeder both have good sense procedures for proper bleeding. Mine came with a tee to bleed em both at once-but we ran outa hands. Protect all your painted surfaces when handling brake fluid. Also very important D O T 4 fluid ONLY. Hope this helps. RIDE SAFE.

The MityVac brake bleeder has helped most of us. Most parts stores have them. Another trick is to tie the lever down overnight and try again in the AM. Sometimes an air bubble will migrate back up the hose and bubble up in the reservoir.
