Keeping in mind that most of my riding buddies refer to me as "Chief Black Cloud"  How water proof are Candy Girls and my new Gerbin jacket liners and heated pants ???  Would like to kinda know before we test them LOL.  Will be taking our Walmart suits this weekend....but still wonder bout the Gerbins

I don't know how well they do........... their website say's "Water Resistant".

I'm thinking about checking out the railroad festival in Clifton Forge this Sat,(unless Sat is a total rainout) let me know if you're interested.

BTW, did you read Highbinders post about VA SR16?

Sounds like a good excuse for a little "get together" to me.

I just got some Gerbing gloves, jacket liner and pants myself...they work pretty sweet, but don't know much about the water resistance...would like to know how they do myself..

I have the gloves and jacket liner. The gloves I've gotten pretty wet with no problems. The jacket liner has always been under a heavy leather jacket so it has really gotten wet to test. I've ridden down to 23 degrees with these and long handles, jeans and chaps and still stayed warm and toasty.

I have had my Gerbing suit for about 6 years now.  I have not gotten it soaked, but have been caught in rain with it.  I have the actual pants and coat, along with socks and gloves.  The water beaded up nicely but did not push my luck in downpours...  You may want to call Gerbing and ask if the replacement policy will cover it if you get wet before you test it out.
