Details for those that aren't aware.

Dragons to the Cave
Location: Robbers Cave State Park
Date: May 20-22, 2011
Lodging: 1-918-465-2562
(Wilburton, Ok)

The update:  Just got a BBQ dinner scheduled on Saturday night at the lodge.  Also I believe there are, or will soon be a few rooms come available at the lodge if you couldn't get in before.

Visit the Oklahoma VRCC website for details.  If you are planning to attend be sure to sign up by clicking the register link so we can get a headcount for the BBQ!  http://www.okvalks.com/archives/2011/01/12/dragons-to-the-cave/

Come on out and join us for some great riding and even better fellowship.  If you have never ridden in southeast Oklahoma you are in a for a treat.  We'll show you some great roads, and beautiful scenery.  We'll even show you some Viking Runestones at Runestone state park if you are interested. http://www.exploresouthernhistory.com/heavener1.html .  At the end of the day we'll feed you some local BBQ and we might even demonstrate how to ride over some traffic cones in the parking lot.

Not sure why we can't keep on the info in one place. Cheesy

How about a pic or two?

Gotta check out the Cave!

Valkyrie Lesa it was good to meet you all as well! And Woohoo is right on!! It was good to meet everyone and see some really beautiful Oklahoma countryside, it's not all flat and red mud colored afterall! This was a very enjoyable trip despite mother nature not cooperating fully. But the company and visitation more than made up for it. Sign me up for it again, next time it rolls around. Thanks again,Scott, Budman, and the Oklahoma crew well done!

Big thanks to Scott & Buddy for a welcoming handshake, thanks to all who made us feel welcome.
You’re more than welcome! Let’s see if we can get some local lunch or dinner rides set up some time!
I had a really great time seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
I plan to start the planning for next year’s gathering while all my memories from this one are still fresh.  I’ll put notes back on this link as things come to me. Watch for a new thread with all the info as things develop.
By the way, did anyone actually go to the cave? I was too busy having a good time and riding!

Wish I had my bike a week earlier or this ride was a week later.  I just got myself a '98 Tourer and this ride is in my back yard (sort of).  I'll be watching for more gatherings.  It's fun to get back in the saddle again.  It's been a few years and I'm having a ball.

I'll be watching for other Valkyries on the roads.
