Talk about "Features"

When I bought my truck...I looked for one with no power windows, no power seats, no carpet, standard tranny a stereo and A/C.  I always thought if it had fancy features its just something else to break someday.

Holy cow, now they want to make a hybrid car that can study data developed from your daily driving habits so it knows how to balance the electrical and gas motor. 

I dont think I ever what my vehicle to try to think.  I want it to do what its supposed to predictably and according to my input.

I'm with you. When I buy a vehicle all I want it to do is get me from point A to point B. I don't need it to call me, I don't need it to tell me when I'm too close to something (let alone parallel park for me). I don't need to watch a movie or entertain the family. All I want is a simple truck right down to a rubber mat floor, no stinking carpet, it's just something else to keep pretty.

Thats where I am with cell phones. All i want is two "features" dial out, and ring in. Thats it. My new one has an added feature, it's water resistant, 
Oh, and the best feature... I don't get the bill.

I lost a battle with the cell thing......all these years I managed to get a phone with no camera.   I dont pay for texting, web service or anything else so pictures are useless.....but alas there were none that had no camera.  My kids hate it that I dont have texting......I tell my daughter that I will not be the one shes texting while shes driving when she gets killed.  Hoping that will make her think, but shes far from thinking
