Rivco Hidden Horns for Interstate on Standard

Does anyone know if the rivco hidden horns made for the Interstate can be used on a standard; can the horns be mounted in same manner, as well as the location for the compressor? Why they are chromed is curious...

I haven't checked but I would say that you could mount the horns in the same location as they mount to the rear muffle brackets. I didn't install mine as they were there when I got my bike. My compressor was mounted behind the right side cover.
I have since taken my Rivcos off because I was having issues with my compressor. I installed a set of car horns to my swing arm. Sounds good and is loud enough to get occupied driver's attention.

Welcome to the VRCC!
The underside of the I/S (Interstate) should be the same as the Standard/Tourer. The only thing that might get in the way is the charcoal cannister, found only on ALL Valks shipped to California. I removed the can to install the jack adapter, and don't know how that will affect the bike as I haven't ridden it yet (still doing tires and maintenance; long story).
The reason they are chromed is that's how air horns are made. Rivco didn't make these to be hidden on the underside of the Valk, that's just where some folks put them.
Fred.
