is  the movement of a pingle 90 deg or 180 from off to on ?   their website is not clear. I am trying to design a lever before-if I buy one .

More like 120 degrees "off" to "on".

Reserve is lever in center position.

Yeah I'm not seeing 180, at least on my vacuum model. Here is pic of the bottom, its shown in the off position, swing it clockwise till it hits the stop and that's "on". I think you could print it and throw a protractor on it. Or call the manufacturer if you really need a precise figure. I'd guess 125 + or there abouts.

Just installed the 1311 pingel on my 97 standard. With the gas outlet tube straight out towards the motor and the lever in "OFF" there is only about a 1/4" or less before it hits the coil. I don't know if this info helps.

Does the degree of swing really matter?  If the lever is all the way forward the petcock is OFF, all the way to the rear is ON and somewhere in between is RESERVE.
