Guys, you all may have saved me a bunch of money and time.  :)I purchased the pingel and in-line fuel valve like you all suggested. Took the tank off the bike, setting on saw horses to drain the fuel and to measure the OEM reserve amount. Used a large syringe and tubing to create the vacuum to open the valve. Even tough I was converting anyway I just had to check the shut off capability of the OEM valve. I disconnected the vacuum, closing the valve...the drain hose never stopped dripping. It's a good thing I replaced all the needle valves when I had the carbs down for cleaning when I bought this ride 4 years ago. cooldude This bike has sat for weeks this winter with the valve in the open position. Now all I have to do now is retrain myself to open and close the valve. I did increase the length of the pickup tube to match the factory. With the removal of the OEM plastic Knob and support there is a lot of room to reach in to move the lever on the new pingel.

Thanks guys.
