am changing my windshield  one screw came out of chrome windshield trim 2 others the nut si spinning in ths trim. any ideas before i take drastic action? thanks

what kind of windshield do you have on your bike?  is it a stock honda windshield/memphis shades, etc.?

Sounds like an I/S faring. The brass screw holders will break loose of the plastic and just spin with the screws. If you can carefully remove the trim, leaving the screws and holders, you can spin them off and JBweld the holders back into the plastics.

Phredvalk, that is what i am going to try, if that doesn't work i will have to replace  the windshield garnish.thanks

Clean the holders thoroughly and push the wedge plates back into starting position before reinstalling the holders back into the garnish.

Antiseize is called for in these assemblies.

Very light tightening is all that is needed for these screws.

Avoid twisting the holders again, once they are in place.
