Guess I'm not as hard core as many of our northern brothers and sisters, but enough was enough.  Mid April and still just above freezing in the mornings.  Rode to work today and it was pretty chilly, but the weather man promised 70 degrees this afternoon.  The weekend looks great, finally, but the Mrs. is working and I have the kids.  Gonna pack the rugrats up and drive to a annual show at Marcus Dairy in CT.

Glad to hear the weather is gettin' better.  Is it just me, or does it seem like we've had a very long off season this time around?

We've got 70 promised here too today, and almost as nice tomorrow...  Sunday the bottom drops out again...  45 and rain  tickedoff

Yep ... seems as though Ol' Man Winter won't let go.  Angry  A nice day here & there and then back to 30's with rain. We have had a few nice Saturdays or Sundays but this past weekend was the first in a long time when both days were relatively nice. But in Keeping true to form .... Saturday will be nice but the temps will be dropping over night & there is a chance of rain, 25% Saturday evening, 75% Sunday. tickedoff

I figure Spring/Summer will arrive around Memorial Day with Winter on July 5.

welcome to spring!
G-Man, welcome to spring.

When we went to PA last weekend and WV the weekend before spring hadn't gotten there yet.  That was nice for my wife because the pollen has been chasing her around the house here in NC. The freeways were bones of trees dotted by the occasional ever green. The next time I take that trip in mid-May spring should have fully sprung, pollen thrown around, and the trees green with leaves over the bones of limbs. Should be an entirely different superslab ride.

I'm glad I live far enough south that spring arrives fairly close to the end of autumn.
