Has anyone purchased these non-oem rails that they are selling on ebay?

How is the quality?  Chrome?  Are they worth buying?

TIA

Stay away from them, if I had it to do over again I would hold out and pay the extra money for used OEM.  If I couldn't find used OEM I would save up and shell out the 750.00 (ouch) for the ones from carolinabikeandtrike!

I purchased a set back in January and at first glance they looked fine, however after I installed them I realized that the right rail stuck out about 1 1/2 inches more than the left.  They are being sold by some Vietnamese guy in Texas who WILL NOT stand by his product.  You can see a photo of them on my Black I/S (converted to Tourer) on the photo below.  To be completely honest (not that I feel this guy deserves it) but I have talked to some other guys here on the forum that have gotten rails that they could live with.  I think it comes down to a "hit-or-miss" proposition as to whether you will get a good quality set or not.

Here is a link to a photo which will better show what I am talking about: http://home.comcast.net/~jlambros/Misc/badRails.jpg
