Hello all.  I just bought a 99 Valkyrie about 3 months ago and I am concerned at the Cluth Fluid.  I verified the level and was below the Low Level Mark (way below).  I filled the reservoir and the bled the line.  After the bleeding I proceeded to re-fill again to the max level.

My problem? I cannot find any signs of leaks. I have verified all over and not even a drop in the floor on in the engine or slave unit.... so what is going on? Any ideas?  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Thanks in advance!

If the piston on the slave cyl is leaking, you will not see it as it will go inside the motor. I would run it a while and see if the level drops again, it will normally go down a little as the clutch wears, but not a lot.

If the slave cylinder is leaking, you can check it by tying the lever to the handlebars overnight.

Untie the lever and you will find very little to no pressure on the lever if the leakdown occurred. Of course if you let the lever return to the rest position it will reload and you will then have lost the indicator.
