A lot of people has spent to too much on the pingel fuel vales. Here's a place that sell the harley valves cheap. I ordered 48-9716 and they also sell the replacement gaskets. If you plan on installing a manual valve might be a cheaper. I will be putting one on my Valk next week. Will do a follow up on how it works and any problems installing. Here's the link.

David, your link brought up a blank page on the site.  I did some searching and finally found it.  http://www.powersportrider.com/CGI-BIN/ZCATJPG?catpub=BC0111C&catpage=468%20.00  Let us know how it goes.  That lever might be a little difficult to reach under the tank.

I went back and re-did it. My plans are trying to make a piece to adapt to out fuel control. Don't know if that will work or not. Will be Monday or Tuesday before I get the valve. Also they have a gasket replacement for the petcock real cheap.

Hello Warlock,
I bought one of these petcocks to use on my custom I built a couple of years ago. Your right, they look like a Pingel but I can assure you they don't last like a Pingel. Last Fall I was Winterizing my bikes and I tried to run the carb dry by turning the petcock off and running the engine. The engine just kept running and would never die. I pulled the gas line off the petcock and gas was still slowly coming out even tho I had shut it off. I pulled the petcock, dismantled it and replaced the O-rings and it still leaked. I got a Pingel for the custom. Problem solved. Later, Simon
