Just wanted to whine, 99 interstate, every winter, stored in a nice garage, hard to ride in northern Utah in the winter. Disconnect battery, covered with her nice custom cover. Come spring, un cover, dust off, charge original battery, fire right up! after 10 years finally had to replace battery, told to store inside, warmer than what old trustworthy required, dam thing will not take a charge! Cannot understand why the new products are such junk, paid top dollar for the new battery and 2 winters.
Just needed to whine, parts store is not on the corner.   Be safe out there...

Did you replace it with a Yuasa or another brand?  I only use Yuasa.

Yep, same here.  Tried the Walmart route on both Valks and both batteries didn't even make it 2 years.  And the genuine Yuasa was about $12 more.  Embarrassed

Wal Mart puts pressure on the mfg to lower the cost so we can buy it cheaper. Sounds good in theory, but produces a cheap product. uglystupid2
There are many things that I will not buy from there.
