That is a Ultimate passenger backrest I converted to the mustang hardware. The mustang backrest was hurting my back.

Those are the Mustang hard saddlebags. I believe they are made for Mustang by Tsukayu.

I think it would look great on a I/S. Makes the chrome really stand out. The pictures don't doe it justice.

I would be more than happy to let you have my I/S painted that color so you could see if you like it or not.  I am always here for a fellow Valk rider. cooldude

Did you take the Easy brackets off and re-mount the Mustangs with the OEM leather bag mounts like your where talking about before?

If ya did, I'd like to see some pics of your mounts and your mods to them whenever you get a chance.

I like the color.  Is that a Mopar color?  Seems my brother had a Dodge Dakota that was just about that color.

I bought the factory brackets and after looking I decided to leave the easy brackets on it. Going to order these to help make the bags more stable and going to use wing nuts on them to be able to remove the piece easier. http://www.mutazu.com/products.php?s=prod_image.php&menu=Accessories&cat_id=26&product_id=308&img=31cm.jpg

I think the painter told me it was a Nissan color.

The color is close to the original Kawasaki Mean Streak Candy Spark Gold (but a bit more orange).

I'm really diggin' the color.....turned out sweet.  Is that an interstate fender....or did you just put an interstate emblem on it?  Looks good.

I/S emblem. I had saved up the money for the paint job and what took so long was me deciding the color. I was going to first paint it the color blue that is used on the accents and use the copper/orange and silver . My wife said the chrome and bags wouldn't go as well with that color scheme. Thought about it and went with her suggestion. Glad I did and love the way it turned out. So she gets credit also on the color.
