Maybe one lesson to be learned over this rapture business is to live every day like it counts because it does.

Love that quote about making the dash count, the time before born and died on your headstone.

Anyways, .... I rode up at 8am in a drizzling rain and fog to meet DynoDave, DalaiLama his wife and son and Dan-bury this morning in Danbury Ct and was on some real nice roads in badass cloud-fog over to Pawling, NY.  Could not see Dyno Dave 100 feet in front of the beemer for some of it.   Got to use the fog lights tho which was fun.

I said my good byes and ride safe and split off at a stop where  I saw there was an old car show and spent an hour taking pictures and enjoying the free event. About that time the fog lifted but it still was real low cloud cover and no sun. So I took some roads I never was on before and enjoyed being totally lost in the woods of Dutchess County until I accidentally found myself on 22. Then rode home for lunch.

I'll post pics later. some of the same cars I saw in Ossining like that magnificent red and white...Lots of Bellairs, GTO, Chevelles, Dodge's a nice DeSoto, and many customs. Entered a raffle for a 64 1/2 mustang and a 2011 charger  (hey ya never know)

Look like the only ride that I'll be able to get in today is one to the grocery store.

Oh well, at least it's a ride.

Maybe tomorrow..........................................

Live every second like its your last. Have had too many friends go the way of the dodo over the last few years. The buddy that the dr's said would beat cancer went 2 months later. The buddy that they told had a month to live is still here 4 yrs later. Lifes a bitch but every once in a while you need to step back look at all the stress and crap and just say F it if you don't all you're going to do is stress yourself in to the hole earlier than planned.  Ride Hard and love every minute of it.

Well if the rapture happened, it did not help the traffic where I live a bit.

My favorite....When I was a kid my Ol'Man had several 55/56/57 ...He had a two-tone 55 like this one that was black and white it was a beautiful car....He then got into the Ford Galaxie with the 390 he had three of those....I'd love to have any of them today.
