I am amazed at all the valuable 'stuff' that I've accumulated, little stuff, like vinyl records, cd's, vhf tapes, special tools, photography stuff,  riding stuff, household stuff, etc

Stuff that hasn't seen the light of day or my memory in 10 years but , never-the-less valuable 'stuff'.

Now I'm not talking about furniture or other big items.  I'm talking about 'stuff' that could make at least 20 blivets (as defined as stuffing 10 pounds of sh## in a 5 pound sack).  Irreplaceable blivets at that.

All this last week I've been 'discovering' that I'm worth more than I thought. Rephrase that, I have a lot of 'stuff' that I can't give up and it's gotta be valuable either today or later, yeah, right!

Next weekend the famliy will be helping me to move the furniture, that'll be easy compared to what I'm trying to sort out now.

In two weeks or so, I'll be moved. Another two months or so and I'll get past the stage of " I saw it when i moved, now where did I put it?"  It's funny how an object gains value in direct proportion to how hard it is to find.

Oh well, When (or if) I get settled in the new place, I'll be able to ride the VStrom more often, there, motorcycle related! Grin

Wayne,
I never understood the "finding stuff you haven't seen in forever" until I moved up St Louis.  Growing up military I never lived in one house more than 3 years (if I was lucky). It is kind of like a treasure hunt when moving now...  and the memories come flooding back.  But it is also amazing at how much "stuff" you can accumulate...

Wayne, that is the reason we added on instead of trying to find another place.   We went through that when I retired the 1st time out of California.

At least the movers had a bunch of packers come in and get ready, then they placed the boxes and barrels in the room designated.

That is when the discovery started.     LOL.
