Spyder demo day

What a strange place to hold demo rides.
Had to pay $5 to get onto the Lake Lanier Island property.
Rode the overloaded touring thing twice and once on their Sport version. With no ground clearance problems I wonder why they have the riders legs bent up on the Sport version? So you can imagine you are on a sports bike???
Max speed was just over 40mph and that was achieved by letting the drivers ahead of me pull away.
Best part of the event was hammering across a dis-used golf course on one of their 850cc four wheelers. Whoop de doo in and out of white sand bunkers. Yee-Hah I really got me red neck on.

Talked to Paul ( Thumper ) and he said he went there yesterday. He claimed the 240 hp jet ski was a trip to ride....Nice pictures Britman

For the money I'd sooner have a sports car than a Spyder. The touring rig needed a lot of input on the bars to make a turn. Clunky gearbox - semi automatic.
If the Sea Doo sales manager was around when Thumper was jet skiing I can assure you that he was more interested in her than a jet ski. She was about 1,000 hp.
She walked by the Spyder area and ALL the male heads followed her. Even the heads of males with wives next to them.
