Well, finally got the Valk to my liking. I got the bags for 425.00 + Hardware and the bike for 3200.00. Also came with a Harley Tourpac installed. It's in the garage. Made the bike slower.  Evil

and my other "project"

The other project looks like fun too.
You're a lucky man to have all that going on to play with.

Hey Army are you going to ride with Lee on the 26th?? I plan on being there, and would like to meet you and see that good looking bike in person.

I haven't talked to him about it specifically, but I'm game as long as no work comes up  cooldude

Armyvalker I plan on leaving Smittys parking lot at 0730 on the 26th. Looks like around 270 miles round trip. Sure would be great to have 3 Valks in the group, If I knew how to get ahold of the guy in Dixon it would be even better. I'm really hoping for good weather because you never know what you will find at a swap meet. Sharkey do you still like the tire?

Yep it did great on the twisties. Rode to Eminence and back for lunch through the senic riverways. Put in about 200 miles. Lets hope the weather gods smile on us for the 26th.

Incredibly nice bike AND for next to nothing in cash! You built a real nice looking Hog cooker! Maybe you can recoup some cost by jacking up the price on those harley bags and selling them to some of the faithful!  ;)LOL

Yeah, and it really needed next to nothing in work. Didn't run, because it had been sitting so long there was air in the clutch and brakes so you couldn't even pull the clutch in to start it. So I trailered it home, bled the fluids, changed everything else, cleaned it up (was very very dirty) and I was good to go.

I'm in on the 26th. I do have one of those "on call" type jobs, so it's always slightly tentative for me.
