Can you identify this Car from the pic?  The owner insists it's an '85 Honda.  I guess that's because it came off an '85.

 Tom,
That is a California freindship I or II. they are an older heavy fiberglass car that was used on a lot of  80's goldwings. I have had one for years setting in a storage shed awaiting to put on a bike maybe someday. It looks just like the one in the picture with the optional chrome bumper bar.

Any idea what it's worth? Guy is asking $1400. Can you still get mounting hardware for it?

That's a good price in my book. I'm sure california sidecars would have a tech line that would be worth calling. I gave $500.00 for mine and it needs work

Well I looked at the side car and I still dont know who made it. There are no identifying tags or serial #'s.  I did not buy it as it needed too much work and California Sidecars is no longer providing parts for sidecars, they only deal in Trikes...

If someone made it you can re-make it... I bought a set of floor boards without the mounts and was told the company no longer makes parts for them. I made my own and they work flawless. What do you think people do when they build a hot rod from a pile of junk. That sidecar would be a walk in the park to make it work on ANY BIKE. Or you could take the easy way and buy one done ready to bolt on for about $5,000.00
