I think it's real, those guys have incredibly fast reflexs, they would not be pros if they didn't.  I have seen a few bare hand catches on line drives by infielders  and pitchers while attending  games, and not just by pros. Hell I've seen em in the stands on line drives foul.   cooldude  Hoser
